Barbell Fundamentals Information

What is the Barbell Fundamentals Class?
An introduction course for ALL ages. We are going to teach the fundamentals of Barbell movements, with emphasis on the Snatch and Clean and Jerk. This 2 week, 3 day a week, 90 minute session class will include:
– A Proper Warm Up
– Professional Instruction
– Guided Workouts
– Reinforcement of proper technique
– Proper Cooldown
After completion of our 2 week course, you will be put on a continuation program that will further develop the skills, strength, coordination, flexibility and speed required to keep progressing in the sport. At this point you may attend any of the hours that the gym is open!
Our Barbell Fundamentals program lasts for six sessions, 90 minutes each session, run every two weeks, costs $150, and is held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 6:30pm.
Once you complete your Barbell Fundamentals program, you will be able to sign up for either our punch cards or a membership.
Why start with a Barbell Fundamentals Class?
At Four Horsemen Strength and Conditioning we offer a very comprehensive Barbell Fundamentals program designed to help new athletes learn about Weightlifting. Our goal is to educate and grow the sport of Weightlifting.
If you would describe yourself as any of the following listed below, then the Weightlifting Barbell Fundamentals program is right for you. You MUST COMPLETE THE BARBELL FUNDAMENTALS program before joining in normal classes:
-You are starting your first fitness program.
-You are just starting a fitness program after a long period of inactivity.
-You exercise regularly, but have no previous Weightlifting Experience.
-You have previous Weightlifting Experience, but have taken at least 6 months off.
-You Weightlift on your own regularly, but you do so without a coach.
-You want to gain a thorough understanding of Weightlifting fundamentals.
How much does this cost?
The non-refundable upfront cost of $150 is due by the first day of class. You must attend all 6 classes in order to graduate and participate in hours outside of the class.
In our Four Horsemen Strength and Conditioning Barbell Fundamentals Class, we cover all of the basic movements we perform in Weightlifting. Safety is our priority, which is why you will have a trainer specifically dedicated to teaching the Barbell Fundamentals Class. We will also take attendance at each class. If you miss a class you will be required to make it up before the next class session and will be charged $50 per each class missed. The classes contain necessary information and teaching that is crucial in your beginning days as a Weightlifter.
Do I have to reserve a spot?
YES! Because of the complexity of the sport, we limit the class to 6 spots every 2 weeks! We want to make sure that you receive the necessary attention and coaching you are paying for. To guarantee your spot, sign up below! Once we receive your information you will be sent an email with more details and a payment link. You are not guaranteed your spot until payment is received in full!
